Governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi recently laid a curse on some people that refused to say ‘Amen’ to his prayer at a recent event.
The statement is believed to be a light-hearted joke from the vibrant governor.
Ajimobi was in the news recently after raising alarm on the growing incidence of greed and desperation to amass wealth by political players in the country.
While speaking during a condolence visit to the family of a late leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo Central Senatorial District, Pa Samuel Ogundiran, in Jobele, Afijio Local Government Area, Ajimobi called on political parties to conduct proper scrutiny and integrity check for aspirants jostling for their tickets in the build-to the 2019 elections.
He also challenged those that believe they have what it takes to lead. to throw their hats into the ring.
