Watch Peter Obi’s rousing speech at #ThePlatform 2017

The former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi gave a very moving speech about Nigeria on Monday 1st of May 2017 at the annual policy and governance forum, The Platform.

Obi’s speech resonates with the thoughts of a lot of Nigerians as he is currently trending on social media. Obi, who spoke on ”cutting the cost of governance”, expressed his displeasure at the allocation of huge sums of money to state governments for lofty projects and the weakened savings culture in the country.

The event held at the Christian centre in Iganmu, Lagos. Watch the clips below;
