Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu were recently seen eating Bananas with Primary school students in Ondo state.
Osinbajo was in the state for a two-day visit for the launch of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) clinic. He visited Alagbaka Estate Primary School in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Friday, where he taught the pupils and also partook in meals with the students alongside Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State
He noted that the purpose of the homegrown feeding program was to ensure that children are fed with a good every day.
The Federal Government has revealed that 7. 6 million children are being fed daily under the National Home Grown School Feeding Program, (NHGSFP).
