Soldiers storm Rivers Community, brutalize residents over land (PHOTOS)

Residents of Umunwelile Community in Etche LGA, Rivers State have raised alarm over an alleged siege on its community by armed soldiers.

On Wednesday, 23rd August 2018, several armed soldiers allegedly led by Major Nasiru, from Garrison Command, 6Division, Bori Camp, Port Harcourt in Rivers State, invaded Umunwelile Community and attacked some of its residents.

The community leaders have sent several formal complaints to relevant authorities, including, but not limited to the Presidency and the Governor of Rivers State.

They even staged a Protest calling on the state government to come to their rescue. Photos below;
