President Muhammadu Buhari has assured the Kaduna state government of provision of resources in enhancing security in the state.
Buhari state this in Kaduna on Thursday where he commissioned a N1.24 billion Emergency Notification Center with real-time technology and other facilities built by the state government to enhance surveillance and security of the state.
Applauding the Governor Nasir el-Rufa’i-led administration for the project, he noted that tackling the security challenges bedevilling the country require the cooperation of both state and federal governments.
Buhari, who also commended the Kaduna facility which was built to activate the use of real time technology in combating insecurity in the state, assured the state government of federal government’s support in the provision of resources towards improving the general security situation across States of the country.
El-Rfa’i had earlier in his welcome address explained that the emergency facility was built with modern and real time technology, which includes the use of drones to monitor every inch of the state.
He also promised that the state government will continue to provide enabling environment including accommodation to aid the security agencies to carry out their constitutional responsibilities.
