Senate President, Bukola Saraki reportedly met with President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso-rock today.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and 4 APC governors also attended the meeting.
The Senate President arrived at about 4 pm and was met at the president’s forecourt by governors Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Aminu Masari (Katsina), Ibikunle Amosu (Ogun) and Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) well as Governor-elect of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
The four governors had waited behind after attending a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) and looked set to depart the villa as they had come down from the president’s office before Saraki arrived.
It is unclear if the meeting is about the supplementary budget Buhari sent to the national assembly on Wednesday or the reports that Saraki is on his way out of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
