Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanjui has described the Nigerian National Petroleumleum Corporation (NNPC) as a worthless outfit adding no value to Nigeria.
This is a reaction to the advertisement for employment by the Nigerian oil company.
NNPC had on March 13, open its career portal to commence recruitment of fresh graduates and experienced professionals.
This was revealed by the Group General Manager, Public Affairs Division, NNPC, Ndu Ughamadu, who confirmed that the recruitment advert on its portal was genuine.
Ughamadu, who said that the recruitment would be in three categories – fresh graduates, senior officers/ supervisory cadre and managerial cadre into different engineering fields and equally in the administrative areas.
Adeyanju said the company is just playing to the gallery as the slots available have already been filled up by politicians and their children and party members.
“The NNPC is a worthless institution of corruption. It adds zero value to . The people I pity the most are the Nigerians applying for advertised jobs there. Before they advertise any job, they have already filled all the slots with their children and party members,” he noted.
