IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has been released from Kuje prison this evening following the perfection of his bail conditions. Kanu, who has been incarcerated for several months alongside 3 other pro-Biafra agitators was granted bail on Tuesday but with very stringent conditions.
Kanu’s lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor told journalists that his client met all outstanding conditions on Friday and was released shortly after all necessary documents were signed by the trial judge.
“Nnamdi Kanu left the prison at about 5 pm after meeting the bail conditions,”
Presiding Judge, Justice Binta Nyarko granted Kanu bail on health grounds.
