Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has reassured Lagosians that his administration would continue to promote the social well-being of his people and ensure that they reap the true dividends of democracy.
He made this known on Saturday in Ibeju Lekki where he was hosted by Onibeju of Ibeju-Lekki, Oba Rafiu Salami in continuation of the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
The former Accountant General of Lagos State further pledged his commitment to fostering peace amongst the different ethnic and religious groups in the State Capital.
“Let me again use this opportunity to reassure all residents that we remain committed to the welfare and well being of all citizens irrespective of their location within the State without prejudice to ethnic, religious and socio economic background.
“We will ensure that the dividend of good governance is evenly and fairly distributed in line with our pledge not to leave any part of the State behind,” he said.
