The problems between Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha and his deputy, Eze Madumere has deepened following the latter’s gubernatorial ambition.
Madumere, a long time friend of Okorocha, has been shut out of official government functions and now operates from his Achi Mbieri country home in Mbaitoli area of the state.
PoliticsNGR learnt that he only comes to his office at the Government House annexe once or twice a week. A source close to the deputy governor told Sun that Madumere has been shut out of governance of the state since he indicated his interest to contest the governorship.
“He has not been assigned any official duty; unlike the past”.
