President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, an Igbo Socio-cultural organization in Anambra state, Chief Daniel Okeke Ogene has attacked the federal government over its Insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians being slaughtered daily by Herdsmen.
In an interview with Telegraph, Ogene said that Ohanaeze condemns the killings by herdsmen adding that the country’s democratic process was under siege.
He also condemned the proscription of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) who never carried arms or killed anybody as Fulani herdsmen are doing presently.
He said; “IPOB and MASSOB are no militants. They have no guns but are oppressed people who were agitating against marginalisation in the most civilised manner yet the leadership of the country label them as terrorists,” he said.
Ogene also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare the Fulani herdsmen as terrorists.
