Governor’s aide killed by Unknown gunmen, Wife shot (PHOTOS)

An aide to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state, Tevershima Adyorough has been murdered. Adyorough, who served as a Principal Special Assistant to Governor Ortom on Knowledge, Economy, and Investments was killed by unknown gunmen at his residence in BIPC Estate Nyiman, Makurdi on Sunday.

According to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Terver Akase, who confirmed the incident, Adyorough was shot and killed by gunmen who invaded his residence at about 12.30a.m on Sunday morning and also shot his wife who is now on admission in an undisclosed hospital.

He said the state government was demanding for the arrest and prosecution of the killers. Below is a photograph of adyorough’s body[viewer discretion advised];
