Former coach of Ghanaian national team, Fred Sam-Duodu dies

Former coach of the Ghanaian national team a.k.a Black stars, Fred Sam-Duodu is dead. Duodu passed away on Tuesday October 4th 2016 at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra.

Duodu reportedly died after a brief illness.The Ghana association of coaches will pay a condolence visit to the deceased’s family today.

Duodu was one of the best coaches Ghana had as he won the Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana in 1978 and also coached in several African countries, winning the 2005 U-17 African title with Gambia.He also won the 1993 African U-20 Cup of Nations and a silver medal at the 1993 FIFA World Youth Championship.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
