Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has reacted to a call for the removal of the Anti-Open grazing law in some states in the federation by the Minister of Defense, Mansur Dan-Ali.
In a tweet earlier today, Fayose asked why President Buhari was not rearing his cows through Open grazing, wondering why it was so difficult to support cattle ranching. He tweeted;
“Why is @MBuhari not rearing his cows through open grazing? Why is it so difficult for the FG to support cattle ranching?
Here in Ekiti, the Anti Open Grazing law stays. It is the Presidency that should stop looking the other way while herdsmen go about killing Nigerians.”
Ali’s comments sparked an outrage among Nigerians, who also questioned why the option of Ranching was not being considered.
