Deji Adeyanju, a human right activist has stated that Nigeria has retrogressed instead of progressing n terms of electoral progress.

Adeyanju, a critic of the ruling government in his Twitter post on Saturday noted that there was progress in 2015 compared to now.

“Why vote if it won’t count? Nigeria moved 10 steps forward in 2015 in terms of electoral progress but we have now gone 10,000 steps backward.

“Without credible polls, Nigeria can never be great.

“In Nigeria, The political actors are the real problem, not the political parties. If these same characters move to any sane political party, they will still cause maximum damage to the nation,” he wrote.
