Ahead of tomorrow’s governorship and the house of assemblies elections, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has inspected the election materials brought to Borno state.
The anti-graft agency inspected the materials at the Maiduguri International Airport, as part of its effort to check vote buying in the build-up to the polls.
EFCC revealed this in its Twitter handle on Friday.
“#Polls EFCC operatives inspect election materials at the Maiduguri International Airport, Borno State, as part of efforts to check vote-buying in the buildup to the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections,” the post reads.
