Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister is wondering why mass murder is now becoming the order of the day in the Northern part of Nigeria.

Fani-Kayode, who is also a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wondered if those killing fellow human beings are not human themselves.

He took to his Twitter handle to express his sadness over the killings, adding that some Christians in Southern Kaduna have been attacked overnight by unknown gunmen.

This according to him has led to many deaths and some injured.

“There were more attacks on Christians in S. Kaduna today with many innocent people killed and their homes burnt. The daily casualties across central Nigeria exceeds that of attacks on Muslim communities across the entire Western world -yet the New Zealand shootings seem to have.garnered more attention and concern in one day than the genocide in central Nigeria has been able to do in many years.

“Why is this so? Are we not human beings too? Terrorism, genocide, mass murder and ethnic cleansing are daily occurrences in Nigeria yet the world remains silent,” he wrote.

There have been reports on social media about a recent attack on Christians in southern Kaduna, but this is yet to be confirmed.
