Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr Isa Pantami has the Association of Outsourcing Professionals of Nigeria (AOPN) that the agency is committed to supporting the group in all its event.

He gave the assurance when hosting the group in his office on Tuesday during an official visit to the Agency’s Corporate Head Office in Abuja.

” I want to assure you that we are committed to supporting you in all your events hundred percent. We know we have a lot of constraints, but it is necessary for us to show all our support in order to motivate and encourage you to do more for the sector in the country.

The OAPN is inviting the agency to its upcoming Outsourcing Expo, also partner with the Agency for effective regulation of the Outsourcing Sector.

While giving them assurance on support,Dr. Pantami said the regulation at NITDAY is to bring about Development in Nigeria’s IT Sector.

“Looking at our youthful population, geographical location in Africa and government policies, we are strategically placed to be the number one outsourcing destination in Africa,” he added.

The Outsourcing Expo, an annual event organized by the AOPN, is a confluence of outsourcing customers, service providers, and advisors across industry sectors in Nigeria and beyond.

Apart from great networking opportunities, the Expo provides a platform for both service users and providers to exchange ideas, access current industry trends and initiate partnerships.
