A train station in France has been completely evacuated following reports of a bomb explosion.
Terrified passengers were hurriedly evicted after reports of an explosion on a Thalys train at the city’s Nord railway station emerged. It was understood to be a controlled explosion.
Paris has been on high alert after a recent string of terror attacks have been carried out in the country by disturbed Islamist extremists.A spokesman for the French police told newsmen;
“There was a suspicious package found in the front of the station.We have checked that it has been detonated.The suspicious package was found this afternoon around 3pm (local time) in the vestibule of the station and part of the station was evacuated.”
