Boko Haram responsible for 357 deaths in 2017 – Amnesty Int.

Amnesty International(AI) has released shocking statistics on the killings of innocent civilians by terror group, Boko Haram.

According to the organization, Boko Haram has killed 357 civilians this year alone during 55 attacks in Northeastern Nigeria. The deadliest month was August when the terrorists killed over a 100 people followed by November which recorded 76 deaths.



A statement by the director of AI in Nigeria, Ojigho Osai, Tuesday’s attack in Mubi, Adamawa state claimed 59 lives. He added that the attack occurred only a few days after the kidnap and beheading of 6 farmers in Mafa LGA, Borno state.
