Arrested female members of the Indigenous People of Biafra group, IPOB were seen singing Pro-Biafra songs as they were arraigned at the Owerri Magistrate Court today.
The Female IPOB members were arrested during a massive protest in Owerri, the Imo State capital, as the women demanded the whereabouts of the missing IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kalu.
They equally demanded a referendum for an Independent state of Biafra by the Federal Government. They also accused the Federal Government of “deliberately marginalizing Biafran people”.
Some of the protesters were arrested by the police and taken to the state command headquarters.
