The Chief Magistrate Court 1 in Plateau holding at Jos on Friday sentenced a 25-year-old applicant, Chidibere Adiba, to eight months imprisonment for trespass and mischief.
The judge, Jeovita Binjin, sentenced the accused or asked him to pay a fine of N10,000.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Mr Ezekiel Galadima, told the court that the case was reported on Aug. 5, at the A-Division police station by one Dunka Augustine, a security man attached to Okonkwo Plaza, Rwang Pam street.

Galadima told the court that the accused went to the premises of Abbey Digital lab and broke the burglary in front of the shop and when he saw the security man he ran away.

He stated that the security man pursued him and caught him.
On arraignment the accused pleaded guilty to the charges, which the prosecutor said contravened sections 327 and 328 of the penal code.
