The All Progressives Congress youth Rennaisance has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for seeking re-election in 2019.

In a statement made available to PoliticsNGR signed by the National Secretary of the group, Collins Edwin, the group thanks Buhari for heeding the calls of the ‘people’. The statement read;

“The leadership of APC Youths Renaissance has received the news of President Buhari’s formal declaration of intention to seek re-election in next year’s general election with great joy and excitement.

We have long ago endorsed him as our presidential candidate, but for accepting our clarions call as well as that of many Nigerians at this defining moment of our national history is truly worth celebrating.

This is a president who has repositioned the battered image of Nigeria within the shortest time frame he has being in the office. Our country is no longer a pariah state as investors confidence in Nigeria is now unprecedented.

While we solicit the understanding of statesmen in this noble task of reelecting President Buhari, we, however, urge all supporters of our great party to embark on grassroot sensitization campaigns by taking the message of Mr. President as well as the manifestoes of our great party to the Nigerian people.

With President Buhari’s acceptance to consolidate on the democratic gains or dividends established in the last three years, Nigeria has indeed began its journey to real greatness.”
