Government wants to eradicate germs
The Willie Obiano led government is poised to ban open defecation in all areas of the state. According to Mr. Obi Nwankwo, the state commissioner for Power and Domestic Water Development, proactive steps have been taken to encourage indigenes of the state to build toilets in motor parks, markets and other public places.
He said;
“We want to totally eradicate germs in our society. We have realised that some people still defecate in the open; so, we want to eradicate it.We want to encourage people to build toilets and wash their hands regularly after using the toilet, after child management and before eating,”
