I’m eagerly awaiting EFCC’s investigation on Tinubu’s bullion vans – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, former media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan says he is looking forward to an investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on bullion vans with money found at the residence of Bola Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), a day to the presidential and national assembly election.

It was alleged that the vans stocked with money, shared to Tinubu’s political associate ahead of the poll.

This is in reaction to the release of Uyiekpen Osagie-Giwa, the lawyer of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the recently held election.

PoliticsNGR reports how the anti-graft agency discovered arrested Osagie-Giwa with Atiku’s son-in-law, Babalel Abdullahi over alleged money laundering of €150m.

“BREAKING NEWS: @officialEFCC just released @Atiku’s lawyer. I commend them and urge Ibrahim Magu and the EFCC to remember that they are a law enforcement body, not an @OfficialAPCNg enforcement body. I eagerly await their investigation of @AsiwajuTinubu’s election bullion vans,” he wrote.
