President Muhammadu Buhari, On Friday, held a closed-door meeting with the Minister of state for petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu at the presidential villa in Aso-rock.
This meeting is coming after Ibe’s letter to the president complaining about the Group managing director of the NNPC, Dr Maikanti Baru became public. The letter also alleged that $26 billion was unaccounted for.
The Minister arrived the Presidential Villa at about 11.40am for the meeting. It’s unclear if Dr Baru will also be present at the meeting.
