Chairman, United Bank for Africa Plc, Mr Tony Elumelu, has charged the National Assembly to implement bills that would have great impacts on the development of the nation’s economy.
Elumelu made this call during the Fellowship of the Nigerian Economic Society at the 58th annual conference of the society in Abuja, where he commended the efforts of the National Assembly and urged them to pass bills that have relevant effects on the economy.
“We need the system to work by itself. We need to hold the National Assembly accountable.We need to encourage the National Assembly and hold them accountable. We need the National Assembly to help us pass progressive bills to help our country .”
