  • Mega party is said to be a coalition of disgruntled members of APC and PDP, desperate to take power from APC.

The Proposed Mega Party seems to be taking Shape as the promoters were said to have recently adopted the name ACTION DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF NIGERIA (ADPN).

The Drivers the Party who have been holding Informal meetings all along have decided to come into open at least to some Extent, as some leaders of the PDP, APC PDM Labour Party, and Accord Party, among others were the brains behind the Emerging Mega Political Party.

The formal Launching of the name is scheduled for Abuja on Monday December 19th 2016, according to sources close to the Mega Party on Friday.

It was gathered that some key leaders and promoters of the New Mega Party who are still in the APC have asked to be excused from the Open Sessions, while some Key Members of the PDP will start open romancing with the Mega arrangement as from Monday.

A source privy to situations going on in the new party revealed to Politics Nigeria that leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Labour Party (LP), Accord Party (AP) and the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), among others, were masterminding the new political party.

Investigations show that while some leaders of the new party who are still in the ruling All progressives congress (APC) have asked to be excused from public sessions, members of the PDP are expected to openly express their support for the new political party after the scheduled Monday meeting.

Meanwhile, Members of the Sheriff faction of the PDP have concluded plans to join the APC when disgruntled members of the ruling party decamp and officially join the Mega party. Although, Sheriff and his loyalists have made their intentions to join the ruling party known, the leadership of the APC says it is ‘still looking through’ and ‘considering’ their interests.
