Ultimate Cycler crash : Nigerians shiver as Ponzi website goes down

  • Fear grips many as ultimate cycler crashes

  • Website admins say site is being ‘upgraded’ for better user experience

  • Website down for over 12 hrs

Since Thursday, many Nigerians have been in a state of shock following the crash of Ultimate Cycler, one of the biggest ponzi schemes in the country.

The Ultimate Cycler website has been unavailable since 10:30am(Nigerian time) on Thursday, December 1st and this development has caused wide spread panic among Nigerians who already ‘invested’ their money in the scheme. For those who are not familiar with the modus operandi of the fraudulent platform, it is detailed in a previous post HERE.

When accessed, the site initially displayed an error line of code, before displaying ”Error 500” in bold letters, then it proceeded to show the message below;



And as at early Friday morning, the message was updated to this;

We are currently updating the site to give you a more pleasurable experience and will be back online shortly.
Our update estimation is to be complete over the next 6 – 12 hours.

It unknown if the website will ever be back online.
As at 11 :42 am Friday December 2nd, the website is back-up.
