Two fake pastors have been arrested in Zimbabwe for possessing fake passports and fleecing their congregation of money.

Pastor Paul Williams and pastor Joseph operated in Waterfalls area using fake passports and charging their members $20 per session. The sessions would start around 10am in the morning and pastor Williams would preach while Joseph prays for people. Both pastors are from Uganda but operate in Zimbabwe.

The church realises nearly US$10 000 every week which they send back to Uganda.Investigations revealed that pastor Paul’s real names were ‘David Mubiru’ while Joseph’s was ‘Shafik Sekandi’.

The pastors were also accused of destroying people’s marriages claiming to be mightily used by God while they sexually abuse women who come for ‘deliverance’. It was also discovered that William spent most of his time drinking beer as a way to entertain himself. Prior to this, he has been previously arrested for physically abusing his wife, Alice.
