Ikpeazu employs street cleaners to solve Aba’s sanitation problem

The executive governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the appointment of street sweepers to help solve the malignant sanitation problem faced by one of the biggest cities in the state, Aba.

In a statement made available to Politics Nigeria by the Chief press secretary to the governor, Enyinnaya Appolos, the engagement of the street sweepers was for all the newly reconstructed roads in Aba.

The roads/ streets include:

Omeni Link Road, Kamalu Street, Dr Chima Nwafo Road (former Umuojima Road), Umuocham Road, Umuehilegbu Road, Umuojima Road, Owere Street, Ochefu Road, Weeks Street, Owerenta Street, Umuola Road, Ukaegbu Road and Ehere Roads.

Interested applicants for the jobs must be resident at, or proximal to the new roads.They are required to bring their handwritten applications in person at the Pavilion within the premises of Aba South Local Government Headquarters between the hours of 11 am to 1pm on Monday 5th September 2016 for immediate employment.
