ECOWAS court ruling : FG reveals why Dasuki has not yet been released


The case against former National security adviser, Sambo Dasuki has taken a new twist. Dasuki who has been in detention for a 2.1 billion dollar arms deal fraud, yesterday got some relief as the ECOWAS court ruled in his as they ordered the Nigerian government to effect his immediate release with a compensation of N15 million.

In response to the ruling, The Nigerian government in a statement through the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, Salihu Isah, said the Judgement is still being studied.

“We cannot just react. We will first of all study the judgement to understand it’s content before taking a stand”
