Npower : Over 4000 beneficiaries deployed in Niger state

The N-power program organized by the Nigerian government has seen the deployment of over 4000 of its beneficiaries across Niger state.

According to a statment made available to press statement made available to newsmen in Minna,  the Special Adviser to the governor of Niger on Empowerment and Social Protection. Mrs. Dauda Afiniki stated on Sunday, that the Niger state government had successfully deployed 4,149 N-power beneficiaries across the state

Afiniki further revealed that she will make sure that all beneficiaries get acquainted with what was required of them by the scheme.

Statistics indicated that showed that 355 candidates were posted to Npower Health, 2, 883 were deployed to Npower Teach, 611 to Npower Agro  and 299 were posted to Npower Community.


The statement further disclosed that the deployment exercise was done by the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), while the National Orientation Agency (NOA) and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) did the verification.‎

Quoting Afiniki;

We have opted to use our discretion in terms of posting based on the state’s personnel needs.The review of the posting of N-Power beneficiaries is ongoing and zero posting issues will be addressed.Thirty per cent of the deployment exercise will be revisited to ensure success of the entire programme.

All beneficiaries were advised to report to their places of primary assignment(POP) immediately as payment of salaries would soon commence.
