Photos : Woman set to break world record by planting 11,000 bamboo stems in one hour

A Ugandan woman is set to enter the Guinness world book of records for planting 11,000 bamboo seedlings in one hour.Divine Nabaweesi from Kasokwe Village in Bbale County, Kayunga district, has nurtured 12,000 bamboo seedlings and intends to plant 11,000 of them within one hour. If she successfully pulls this off, she will enter the Guiness book of records.

“I want to make a world record on planting of Bamboo,” she stated as she has leased 60 acres of land for 15 years at Kasokwe.“I have also mobilized out growers with 40acres of land for planting of bamboo”.
